Intellectually Disabled Association Malaysia (IDA) started its care services in the month of June; and registered on 28th September 2020.   IDA is committed to serve the needs of the people who are intellectually challenged; aged 15 – 35 years old. 

Our aim is to offer opportunities to the Intellectually Challenged young adults towards an Independent living through its programme of character & spiritual development and career training to empower them for transformation and Independent Living.

With the spirit of transforming them with a caring heart and based on the concept of “Instead of Giving Fish, We Teach them How to Fish.”  And in Discovering their Abilities through various activities and skill training to develop them to improve and to integrate them into society.

爱特儿特殊协会是一间协助与辅助学习障碍者在社区中过自立生活的非营利团体。我们于2020年6月开始关怀工作，9月28日正式注册为服务特殊障碍者机构乃限于15-35年龄阶。

我们强调给予他们平等的机会。这包括了平等的教育机会，平等的培训机会，平等的就业机会和公平享有公共设施的机会。我们希望能够协助他们生活自立，同时也能为国家带来贡献。

我们抱着让爱心转为祝福的理念；从启发特殊障碍的潜能开始；以“给他吃鱼，不如教他捕鱼”的理念，我们相信透过各不同职业培训技术，能够帮助特殊障碍获得生活技能，以改善他们的生活素质并融入社会。
